2017 DIRT Report Released
On September 19, 2018, CGA's Data Reporting & Evaluation Committee released the new 2017 DIRT Report, which detailed an improved data analysis process used to estimate total U.S. damages and revealed that damage rates have effectively remained stable from 2015-2017 when construction spending and outbound locate transmissions are taken in to account.
Beyond reading the report itself, CGA encourages its members to engage with the DIRT Interactive Dashboard. This dashboard allows users to apply several layers of filters to DIRT data to examine the information through lenses specific to their stakeholder group, location, type of facility, and more.
