Project Owner Requirements & Coordinate PA
This session teaches all stakeholders about the beginning process of a Complex Project for underground excavation. Learn about the requirements Project Owners have in the One Call law. In addition, this session will teach you how a Project Owner enters a project in Pennsylvania 811’s Coordinate PA (CPA) application. CPA, the next generation of utility coordination, is an application that gives Project Owners the ability to coordinate their underground excavation projects with other project owners, designers, excavators and facility owners. The goal is to help maximize the benefits of shared costs and much more; combines with the ongoing efforts to prevent damage to underground utilities. CPA also enables users to add and/or import existing projects, coordinate opportunities with others who want to collaborate, share project communications with designated contacts, and notify facility owners at any stage of a project.
